Batman Reanimator

David Fincher, exímio diretor dos ótimos "Zodíaco" (2007), "Seven: Os sete crimes capitais" (1995), "Clube da luta" (1999) e "O curioso caso de Benjamin Button" (2008), conseguiu tropeçar no suspense policial "Garota Exemplar", baseado em romance de Gillian Flynn. Amy (a bela Rosamund Pike) é ótima esposa, filha, escritora de sucesso, que deixou a vida tranquila e glamourosa de Nova Iorque e mudou-se para o Missouri com o marido, o escritor desempregado Nick Dunne, quando a mãe deste é diagnosticada com câncer. Uma bela manhã, quando eles completavam cinco anos de casamento, Nick sai de casa e vai ao bar onde é sócio da irmã, Margo (Carrie Coon). Ao retornar, encontra toda a casa revirada e sem sinal de Amy. Ele chama a polícia, e devido às evidências, ela é dada como desaparecida.

 As investigações começam, e as pistas vão indicando que Nick tem certa culpa no cartório. Teria ele matado a esposa e dado sumiço no corpo? O diretor aproveita, então, para fazer crítica à mídia, que de forma sensacionalista, faz o pré-julgamento do marido, clamando pela pena de morte. E Nick não deixa de ter ter o rabo preso, pois desejava mesmo se livrar de Amy, além de namorar uma aluna de vinte e poucos anos.

"Garota Exemplar" é visto sob duas óticas: pela de Nick e pela de Amy, através de um diário escrito por ela. A trama é bem conduzida, prendendo a atenção do espectador, que até torce para que Nick se livre da enrascada. Mas o filme perde fôlego na sua parte final, com uma solução pouco criativa.

Porém, a destacar a boa atuação de Ben Affleck no papel de Nick: geralmente criticado por sua pouca capacidade representativa, aqui o ator segura bem as pontas. Mas quem vai mesmo bem é Rosamund Pike como uma pessoa de dupla face - ora acuada, ora assustadora.

O Brilhante Final de Gilmore Girls

Quantas vezes você, como espectador e fã, ficou aguardando ansiosamente pelo capítulo final da sua série favorita? E quantas vezes você já não se decepcionou com os últimos capítulos? Pois é, infelizmente, hoje em dia, é normal que os seriados comecem bem e acabem deslizando da metade para a reta final, até decaírem e, por vezes, perderem a graça e decepcionarem os fãs. Também acontece ocasionalmente, de um ótimo seriado acabar repentinamente com um final frustrante.

São vários os fatores que podem comprometer uma história e deixar os fãs angustiados. Como exemplo de finais ruins, pode-se mencionar a série Heroes, que começou muito bem, e, gradualmente foi escorregando até fechar com um epílogo patético. Ou Lost, cuja explicação do final da série parecia um imprevisto de última hora. Ou até mesmo Twin Peaks, uma das produções mais renomadas da TV, que também teve uma conclusão deprimente.

Mas é claro que, algumas vezes, e aliás, muitas, os espectadores têm ótimas surpresas em capítulos finais. E vamos falar especificamente de um último episódio referente a uma série que começou razoavelmente bem, e, aos poucos, mesmo com uma premissa simples, arrancou aplausos por parte dos críticos e conquistou uma imensa legião de fãs. A série em questão é Gilmore Girls. O enredo, conforme dito anteriormente é simples: basicamente conta sobre as vidas de Lorelai Gilmore e sua filha, Rory Gilmore. Porém, esse desfecho foi trabalhado com imensa criatividade, e o seriado foi conduzido de maneira magnífica.

Claro, mesclar boas ideias com boa direção é um caminho para sucesso de uma produção, seja na TV ou no cinema. Gilmore Girls começou de maneira sutil, tendo na primeira cena, mãe e filha numa lanchonete tomando café. Com o passar do tempo, e conforme os episódios eram exibidos, a série foi amadurecendo e, assim, amarrando cada vez mais espectadores. e conseguindo aprovações de críticos. Conforme um seriado tem sua história bem estruturada e possui uma sequência satisfatória de capítulos, a expectativa para o final da série também vai aumentando. E os fãs de Gilmore Girls sempre se indagaram sobre como aquela história acabaria. Será que Lorelai se casaria? Lorelai e Luke permaneceriam juntos? Qual seria o caminho que Rory tomaria? Ela iria se casar com Logan ou voltaria para algum de seus romances passados? Como seria a última cena do capítulo final? Claro, havia muito questionamento. O que este texto pretende é traçar um destaque referente ao enfoque da última pergunta: "Como seria a última cena de Gilmore Girls?", como seria o "finalzinho" da série, os últimos segundos? Pois bem. Quanto às principais respostas que os fãs da série queriam, foram respondidas e esclarecidas na reta final de Gilmore Girls. Claro, sempre haverá quem se desagrade com um ou outro detalhe, mas, no geral, os fãs gostaram das respostas que o rumo conclusivo do seriado apresentou. E o mais importante, é que ainda que houvesse ou haja discórdia de algum fã em relação a algumas dessas respostas da história, Gilmore não se perdeu: se manteve coerente e firme a ponto de conseguir dar essas respostas ao seu público, fato que, mesmo sendo o mínimo que se espera de um seriado, muitas vezes não é o que acontece.

E a última cena, aquela que fecha a série, foi uma jogada inteligível por parte das cabeças pensantes por trás da produção de Gilmore Girls.

ALERTA DE SPOILER: Foi simples: a série acabou da mesma forma que ela começa, com Lorelai e Rory, sentadas numa mesa, tomando café, na mesma lanchonete em que estavam na primeira temporada, no primeiro episódio. Gilmore Girls fechou sua história com a fantástica simplicidade harmônica que compõe a atmosfera de toda a série. Enquanto muitos pensavam que algo inusitado poderia acontecer, e diferentemente de como muitas vezes alguns diretores fecham suas histórias, terminando-as com uma cena final grandiosa e extraordinária, Gilmore Girls encerrou de forma discreta, mas com um momento que transmite ao espectador todo a essência do contexto do seriado. A genialidade do final foi a capacidade criativa de terminar o episódio com a mesma serenidade com que a série se iniciou. É como diz a sabedoria popular: "às vezes, os atos mais simples são os mais admiráveis".
